I am two days shy of 60 days. Having a very emotional and hard day due to some long term emotional challenges in my family. Story is too long, too complicated, but the pain and sadness is hitting me today. Last year I thought throwing wine down my throat would make it go away, but it just added another problem to the pile. I am struggling, but I won't drink today. Walking through pain totally blows though. That's all.

EJ43, I am sorry things have been so rough for you, lately. I hope your family issues improve soon.

Realize though, that as hard as things are, your situation would be SO much worse if you gave up on your sobriety. So, stay strong. Hang in there. We are pulling for you.

Congratulations on your sobriety! I find that it is pretty common to have times of feeling a little nutty in my sobriety. I've learned to think of it as a "growing pain".
