7 Days
Well, I just want to say that I've done 7 days. Had some challenges on the weekend and resisted. Yesterday I was forced to drive by my favorite bar on the way home from work. Used to stop 2-3 times a week for a couple (or 4) quick ones. I had no desire to turn in.
This morning is the first day I really feel better physically. Seems like crappy sleep and night sweats are gone. I'm looking forward to how long I can keep this going.

Congratulations. In the beginning I needed to find new routes around anyplace that reminded me of past drinking which got my mind thinking that I was missing something. I was, the same old same old.
I found that positive thinking helped a lot by thinking it will be better tomorrow and it usually was, day after day. Suddenly I noticed that this or that feeling was hardly recognizable any longer the longer I stayed sober.
