A quick hello
Hey Gang,
Just wanted to say a quick hello, its been a while since Ive been on here. Right around my last post last year I finally got the courage to go to the doctors and get a prescription to antabuse and gotta say it helped a lot. Manage to go 95 days sober but temptation finally gave in and ended up drinking again. It started slow at first and I thought I had things under control but things eventually got back to the way it was with the drinking before the antabuse. These last few weeks were a little difficult with it ending in me confinding a little to much info to a friend luckily though she is understanding of my situation. After that i decieded to get the prescription to antabuse refilled and its been a pleasant 18 days sober now, hopefully this sober go around lasts a little longer..Well if you have read this far thanks for listening

It seems like you're expecting to relapse like it's a luck thing, yet learning to control your urges or work out why you have them could mean you don't have another go around.
Welcome back and congrats on 18 days.
It sounds like it is time to stop thinking and talking about being sober and do something to stay that way. Action is key. Get your butt into a recovery program. Does not matter which one, pick one and dig in.
