Day 4 Has Been The Hardest

But hanging tough. No desire to drink, which is good. Fog brain, hands sweating and shaking but less than before.

I've had no energy today. Still went to work and got things done. However, we needed groceries and the area I live in has grown a lot. The grocery stores are a mad house all the time.

Not feeling like dealing with it, I decided to order groceries from a home delivery service. Paid more for it but I thought "what the hell."

When they guy arrived, my daughter looked at me, rolled her eyes and said "OMG, dad. That is the epitome of laziness." She's been laughing at me since.

So now I'm drinking Perrier and watching tv. On to day 5!

You go dad. Day 4 is awesome. Someone told me to treat myself like I had the flu for a week or two till I felt better. It was good advice. You did great. Take care of yourself and be the dad your daughter deserves. I am so proud of you.

Why not have the groceries delivered if you can? Sounds good to me. Stay strong. The best is yet to come.

Timmaaaaaayy!

Way to go on day 4 >> 5? Look at it this way. It may cost a little more to have groceries delivered. How much did you save by not drinking these past four days? You may still be ahead.

I remember day 4 being the absolute worst! Great job taking care of yourself and hanging out with your daughter. By the end of this week I bet you'll feel like 10,000 bucks! I think 1,000,000 comes a little while later but, baby steps, ya know haha
Great job

Ugh, day 4, but you handled it like a champ! Delivered groceries? That would be super awesomeness. Wish I had that available to me...Lucky dog!!! Sign me up for the uber lazy thread lol.

I wish I had grocery delivery in my area! For the first couple weeks going to the grocery store was challenging. Passing the wine isle was like briskly walking past someone you didn't want to see. It was like a bottle of malbec was screaming out to me "HOW YOU DOIN" in the best Wendy Williams voice.

Timmah - so proud of you for reaching 4 days. Those first few are rough, but you made it. Things will ease up and get better.
