Hola, my first post
Wishing everyone a night of peace and freedom! Though I don't suffer from it, I understand addiction pretty well. My husband of 1.3 years is an alcoholic in denial as well as abusive both physically and verbally. I am steadfastly planning a way out, refusing to allow our infant to grow up with a sick and sickening father. I'm sure I will have many questions along the way and it seems this site is a wonderful place for help and advice.

Welcome, Missboots! I'm sorry for what you're going through but I wholehearted endorse your planned course of action. Be safe, and take care of yourself and your child. Be careful in the process- you mention he's abusive and can be dangerous. You have to watch out for yourself.
