Reading traditionally notated jazz guitar chord solos is pretty absorbing. I don't know about "inner peace" necessarily, but it requires (at least for me) a high level of concentration.

Running is good stuff, too, and seems to be getting better as I get lighter and my conditioning improves. I feel .. fast, and I haven't felt fast for twenty years. I ran a brisk five miler yesterday with extra speed on hills and it felt great, even better than the cruise intervals earlier in the week.

(I was very bad at both of these things in the beginning, but have gotten much better through practice. I am still pretty bad at the first one, though. Ugh, chord solos!)

Being outdoors, mostly. Long hikes with my dog; taking 'real' (sober) time to appreciate and talk to my family; music; writing. =)

Running, music, spending time with my kids one-on-one, reading, simply being outside, the hour between 5 and 6 am when I wake up and center myself for the day ahead.

Exercise classes at the gym; reading; cooking; walks with my friends; crafts - when I have the patience (one of my students told me that she is very proud of me because I manage to stay calm with things go wrong with my sewing more now - I was happy with that as this is one tough 16 year old autistic cookie, and she wouldn't say it if she didn't mean it)
