When I've been in the place you appear to be right now, I knew the pain would subside once I stopped drinking and using. Even one day of sobriety made a big difference. If you can stop today, do it. And know that tomorrow will be a new and hopefully better day.

Sometimes a hug during a difficult time can make all the difference in the world. I am not a touchy-feely person but on that rare occasion, I too need a hug.

This is absolutely wierd. Going thru my phone trying to clear up space from havin 2 many photos(know it needs syncing but that's whole nother story) but anyway got done finally tonite. However rite b4 gettin on here saw 3 pics of my youngest!! @1st said "no I'm not gonna cry" but in less than a min was in tears just as I am rite now as I write this!!! He's in ga & I miss him but can only have supervised visits per judge's order which I'm fine w/ coz never want to be in ex's prescence alone!! Anyway, you're not alone; I'm gonna try & go to bed & hopefully catch some zzz(ughh damn it)

I'm assuming you may have had a drink? When I've slipped, it's made me feel useless and worthless...that alcohol just makes us feel worse - almost relishes our pain because it makes us want it more.

Cyber hugs from SR have kept me afloat many a time. I've also had many in AA meetings.
I hope you come back and share what's going on for you...look how many people have responded. That's a lot of love and concern heading your way.
