Sobriety milestone rewards?

Anyone do these? If so, what increments did you use? I was thinking of doing rewards every week until the first month and then after that do monthly rewarfs. What did you guys reward yourselves with?

I don't recall "rewarding" myself, per se, because I reached a certain day/week/month, though I can see the reasoning behind it. This is going to sound cliched, but at about three months, sobriety became its own reward.

Hmm...today marks 1 year for me. I went to work.. Some reward

I really should think of doing something tonight, like buying a steak.

I stopped celebrating birthdays a while ago - just another day alive for me.
Depending on the person.
If you are struggling, celebrate every single day.
In AA they sometimes celebrate months, then years.
I will celebrate after five years. Hurray for 100 days. But until I can say I've had a few years, why pat myself on the back. My shoulder hurts enough already.

How about the reward of gratefulness? Along with having a more healthy productive life being comfortable in our own skin for a change.

BE WELL

For any alcoholic or addict, one day to not
drink or use is a HUGE Accomplishment...!!!!

I learned to stay gounded in recovery
and not boast out loud, because as soon
as I feel like I have this addiction in the
bag and that I am cured, then my ego
would get the best of me and then that's
all she wrote. And for me one drink is
all it will take to begin the insanity of it.

Quiet, humbly, I am grateful for another
day sober.

I know some people save the money they would have spent and use that to buy themselves something nice
