Hi,
Just arrived here for the first time
Been clean and sober since 17th August 2009
What can I say..recovery is great and I'm gad I'm in it
I think the one thing I needed to hear was that if I can recover anyone can..I never thought I would make it but I could see others had, so I just kept going
The first year was a roller coaster, but a lot if it was OK, some of it was hell..I went to a hell of a lot of meetings at first - I did over 300 in my first year
Get a home group, get a sponsor, do service, work the steps...simple but not easy
