ha ha, I said the same thing last night. Then I figured it out myself. Post alcohol withdraw syndrome.
But then Mr Google corrected me. Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome

Just what I needed

Hi Dee

I've been sober for 40 Days and I've posted a bunch on sr and in the beginning it was so much about the rationalization in quitting. Now, it's become more challenging and this article was exactly what I needed in order to understand why some things haven't been so easy.

Thank you again,

M

Thanks guys. That's what I thought but overthought myself our of the obvious.

So it's after you get past the initial physical withdrawals of detox. Later in clean stages where you can have a multitude of psychological, cerebral, and physical challenges/symptoms.

Did you guys go through severe physical withdrawals during the initial detox?

I was drinking quite a bit almost daily about 5 days a week and have not been drunk for 28 days and completely alcohol free for 15. I was surprised, grateful yet surprised that all I had was some slight tremors in my hands.

Is there any empirical evidence of correlation between intensity of withdrawal symptoms during initial detox and future PAWS?

Does everyone have PAWS in later stages or recovery?

PAWS is different for everyone
Good eating and vitamins can help
Many are deficient in magnesium, whether drinking or not
be well
