sitting in a meeting with my AV

I was sitting in a work meeting talking shop, when out of the blue I started saying in my head: I need a drink, I need a drink, I need a drink. The thing is, I was able to be mindful and label this as the Addictive Voice. I don't think I've ever so consciously both heard my AV and acknowledged what it was. Just sharing and not drinking. Thanks.

Separation between my self and my addiction has been instrumental in staying sober.
