tremors

how to stop alcholic tremors. this is forcing me to consume alchohol.

Initially I would go into a detox facility for a few days. It's what I did. I feel for you.

Agreed, if you are having tremors you should see a dr. And detox under medical care. Detox is a serious medical condition. I hope all goes well, please post back and let us know how you are doing.

Please do see a Dr mc1.

I've no wish to scare you but sometimes tremors are indicative of a bigger problem with detox.

Seeing your Dr is the safest bet all round

mc1, please go to the hospital. It is not unlikely an electrolyte imbalance. You need to get a CBC/electrolyte panel. They can give you IV replacement and correct it.

You might have low potassium (particularly if you've been vomiting or have decreased kidney function), which is extremely life-threatening as it throws off heart rhythm.
