4 weeks today :-)
...since I drank my last drink of poison...today I feel strength in my sobriety, I feel more in control than I have for a long time, and though I am glad for the other sober periods its time to keep looking forward and not back!

I like the way you say "my last drink of poison".
I use that idea a lot too.... when my AV is trying to tell me that a situation might be better with alcohol... when I'm feeling nostalgic or tempted; I remind myself that what I'm thinking about is DRINKING POISON.
WHY the hell would I want or need to DRINK POISON??????
