Yep I'm ok and do not want a drink at all just emotions coming up and that's ok. Was a good day and I feel really lucky I could give my son my love today

This statement of yours resonates with some pretty deep feelings in me (since childhood). Long story... But I think it's not true for either of us. You express a wide range of emotions and concerns even on these boards...

Being sober, I want to believe that we can learn to love ourselves, overcome our fears, and find more peaceful connection with others in the process.

Happening again feel like I'm in so much emotional pain and letting it come up is really uncomfortable drinking is not the answer but it wants me to I hate it so much I just wanna cry.

Every day you don't drink, the emotional roller coaster will subside a little more.
