Herbal Tea tastes like ass!

It's 9.24pm here in Western Australia and today was hours and hours of torture and misery. At one point I felt like I was shuddering from the inside out... But thankfully that only lasted a few hours. Headaches still here as is tingling, itching and anxiety. Tomorrow will be Day 4...and normally the Day I cave in and fall off the wagon.
I am going to sit down tonight and work out a plan for tomorrow and set some goals to give me a bit of direction. Tonight I rediscovered chocolate. My taste buds are waking up. Oh and also I can now officially say herbal Tea tastes like ass! Hope everyone is safe and well. xxx

I love herbal tea. Have you tried dandelion? It has a roasted taste and is supposedly good for the liver and digestion.

I don't think I soaked it in water long enough. I'll give the Peppermint and The Dandelion flavours a go tomorrow...I'm sure I'll find one I like thru trial and error.

Well that's why mine tasted like ass then. It was in the cup for only a minute!

I like fruit herbal teas. But most of all just a proper cup of tea :-)

I think I went through all sorts of drinks before I discovered that for me there wasn't really any 'replacement' for beer.

Well done for giving up!

Coffee is delicious, and sometimes can cure a headache.

i can recommend Valerian tea - it smells like feet but tastes delicious and helps me sleep.

also, green tea chai is spicy and wonderful...

fruit teas can **** off though. ugh.

Sorry Mish but I have to ask.... how do you know what ASS tastes like? LOL!
Thanks for the laugh!

The brewery I used to frequent had a septic that would back up into the drain in the bar area, talk about DISGUSTING! One night, the evening bar tender walked in and shouted... 'THIS PLACE SMELLS LIKE ASS!'.

I don't care for herbal tea's either but I'll admit that I drink tea for the caffeine as a morning boost. I have a couple cup's each day.

You guys are hysterically funny. The title of this thread made me burst out laughing.

Not tea, but coconut water cooled down or room temperature is my absolute favorite thing to drink.
