Day 5 Good Vibe Morning

I made it! I got through Day 4! I always said Day 3 was my hardest in the past, but I didn't know about Day 4 because I had never made it. Whew! Pretty rough evening.

I woke up this morning, though, with the thought "Wow, is this what it feels like for normal people to sleep?" Best night of sleep I have had in a long time. Hopefully the worst of the withdrawal insomnia is behind me.

Question and hope not TMI. I woke twice last night to pee. Never happens to me. I usually was so passed out and when I woke in the morn I didn't have to go that bad. I suppose that was dehydration from the copious amounts of wine the night before possibly?

Feeling very excited to be on Day 5. It is looking up already.

Glad to see you on an isolated pink cloud. Life is hard, stuff happens. Wish you the best.

Ouch.....isolated sounds pretty harsh. Way to burst a bubble.

I think you're doing great MrsSenstive. A little joy is a wonderful thing.

A former mod here CarolD said her pink cloud never left her. She had over 20 years recovery when she passed

Field trip coming up, right? My kids were always so proud when I was a chaperone. Another day of success toward your goal!

Mon morn at 5:30am we head out for 3 nights. Going to be exhausting but fun. I am so glad I will have 6 nights under my belt to make it more comfortable and there will be 3 nights with absolutely no possible opportunity or access to booze so I know I will be in the clear there. I am taking an e-cigarette with me as I haven't given up that little bugger yet. But maybe that will be a start in the right direction there, too. Don't want to take on too much at once.

Did have a rough couple hours before dinner tonight, but not unbearable. And had a lovely burger on the deck with the family in the Springlike weather.
