Happy Saturday everyone!

It's so great to see all the things people are doing to fill up their sober time. For me, I need to find a new place to hang out outside of my house. I used to go to the local chain bookstore that wasn't too far from me but it closed down about a year and a half ago. I'm bummed because it was something I really liked doing. Grab a coffee, surf the net, read and buy some books. There isn't another that close to me and the one closest is a traffic nightmare to get to. I might chance it on Monday though.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Sober Saturday hanging out on the patio, aka the scene of many wine drinking crimes!! Boom!

I'm extremely grateful for the arrival of spring. The sunshine and warming air is nice, however....

My allergies came back with a vengence today. My eyes feel like sandpaper, my sinuses feel like someone hit me in the face with a baseball bat, and my nose is burning like the fires of Hades.

Ugh!

It's still sober Saturday for me but my husband moved a ton of mulch and now he's slamming beers down and it's irrititating me!!! I mean, he asked me if it was OK if he got beer and I agreed, so complaining now is a little lame on my part. So I am complaining here instead -- ha!

Hello Sober Weekend Peeps!

Planted my organic seeds and they are now parked under the fluorescent lamps.....I just hope the cat leaves them alone once they start to grow.
I am going to do a little cleaning up of the yard while the sun is out.

Weasel, I would love a review of the fitbit. Do you have the one that you wear on your wrist? And it logs all your steps? Would it help with my bike mileage? (I don't ride much outside....big scaredy cat about traffic....I have a rack that holds the back wheel so I can ride it inside)
I have a pedometer, but it is not very handy for just wearing all day long....it clips to your waistband and not very well. It does me no good if I am riding my bike. I would really like the fitbit, but it is spendy and I want to make sure it is worth it.

I hope everyone is doing well today!

Think I'm going to order myself up one right now too!

I'm definitely a visual person so actually seeing what I'm doing physically will help motivate me to do more.

Thanks, Weasel!

Go for it! I was shooting for my record... 20k steps but damn... That's tough.

I even went for a massage at noon to see if that would inspire me. Better to put the effort into exercise than drinking.

That's awesome aarryckha! Easy to get set up. We should start a fitbit challenge from SR. I will set that up because I know a few more of us that have one and that would be cool.

Heading to watch netflix for the rest of the evening.

K

Thanks for the inspiration, Weasel!

You know, I really can't remember the last time I bought anything nice for myself. I mean that sincerely.

In my housecleaning, I found a gift certificate I had gotten a while back for a massage. I'm going to make an appointment to get it! It's time to be nice to myself!
