resentments ....

Ugh. Cannot stand my husbands ex-wife. I didn't use H word as I'm trying to remain positive. Pls give me some words about the nonvalue of resentments so that I might make it through the next two hours being in her presence at a soccer game. Pathetic to feel this way I know but she can really get to me...

Just try to ignore her. Catty behavior usually means jealousy. You're probably having the life she wants.

All you have to do is be polite and civilized.

I agree with least or you can do what I have done in the past which is to be so syrupy sweet and nice that they get all discombobulated and rendered basically mute.

May be she's still hurting. I imagine its difficult for all three of you. I know it must be really hard, but if all three of you can find a way to support each other then you might all be better off. Divorce nearly always leaves long standing wounds.

Try to be patient with her. Those who are aggravating on the outside are often the ones hurting most on the inside.
