I was addicted to wine also . Remember when you first tasted wine ever ? The taste was vile , I am sure 99% will say yes to this, you persevere then the drug takes over and then you are convinced it's such a fantastic taste, such a ingenious but simple trap.
I used to buy the small bottles of wine and hide them round the house . Lying to the Mrs that I only had 2 but had in reality about two full bottles of wine and was always wanting more.
Total sobriety for over 2 years now, I love it, greatest thing I have ever accomplished the freedom from alcoHELL is worth its weight in gold ! I could go on all day about the pros of not drinking but sometimes sound a bit pious and smug so theses days I just look at drinkers with pity , sorry could not resist it.
Grind it out , never drink , never go back.
