Every single day I come here.
In the 13 months plus that I have been sober, this site, and all of you, continue to be massively important to me.

For a few hours (or four) the site was down.
That doesn't sound like a lot of time.
But in those hours, when I couldn't connect, it felt like a major lifeline had been severed.

My point here is to acknowledge the wonderful community here. Every minute of every day we support each other, and that is truly precious.

I am grateful to every one of you who come here every day for support and encouragement, and for all of the love and help that is so selflessly given back.

SR, and all who maintain this site, and all who contribute, mean the world to me.

Thank you Sober Recovery ~ for all that you do.

I second that, the site has been invaluable to me - my 'refresh' button was nearly worn out over the past few hours

I'm sure website maintenance is necessary. When SR goes down during my prime time, I clean or do needed chores, but still run back to check.
A wise person on these boards, ( either CarolD or Anna) once told me that cravings last about 7 mins., I set the timer on the microwave, it is true.
So always have plan B.

I agree, first thing I do is come on here and it was down, was like my lifeline had been severed! Everyone on here is such a support to me, I love reading all the threads, thank you to you all for your continued support and love.
