2 weeks? 10 weeks? 20?

Headaches are a part of withdrawal, but you need to see a Dr.

Welcome latarsha!

I definitely had headaches the first week or so. It would be best to get it checked out. I hope you'll keep posting. This is a wonderful place for support & friendship.

I agree with everyone who posted earlier. A TON of physical symptoms can be caused by withdrawl... Headaches included.

It's really best to see a doctor and be completely honest with him/her. They can help you through the withdrawl.

Hi Latarsha

Headaches are pretty common. I had them, for maybe two weeks?
None of us are Drs tho - if you're concerned seeing your Dr is the way to go

Welcome! I would see a doctor if you can but also make sure you are drinking enough water. When I first started quitting a while ago I got headaches because I wasn't replacing the liquid I consumed in alcohol with water. If you wear contact lenses or glasses you may also want to increase fluids AND get your eyes checked.
