I second what all the posters say on here. You sounded very scared at the beginning of your thread, then you sounded quite upbeat...this is where the alcohol will get you. Once you feel better it will creep up on you again.

You are already considering going out on Thursday night, do you think that's wise? Its very easy to forget how bad we felt once we start feeling 'normal' again....dont fall for the trap hun, you need to make some changes to stay safe and away from drink if you dont want to be in ER anytime soon.

agree with this post 100% - fell into that trap after 2 months rehab last week, and now have 2 broken ribs from a fall and my wife has left me. Feeling better is so dangerous and when you need to be on your guard: us alcoholics have such short memories. Just keep reading your original posts when you are thinking of going out...
