Wy to go! I remember my first Birthday, biggest milestone of our sobriety IMHO. Number 3 is coming up for me 5/23/14; but #1 was the significant 'hump' for this sober alcoholic.

Thank you, everybody, for all the warm and supportive replies!

I'm a bit bemused and chagrined that the number of replies I've received almost equals my total post count

I'll try to do better about posting more often.

If the first year of sobriety was mostly about learning how to get and stay sober, perhaps the second year will be about developing the sort of richly rewarding and fulfilling life that isn't possible with alcohol.
