court tomorrow
Think of it as an opportunity to build your defense by staying sober. I know you were hoping to get this over with today but it could be a blessing in disguise.
Keep up the good work you are doing. Hopefully there wont be any more delays.
Enjoy your workout!

Chilledice, I'm inspired by the whole process as well as the brother/sisterhood of this community. I'm also finally curious to my full potential physically and mentally. I'm in the gym 3-5 hours a day to excercise my body, then I read a ton of interesting literature to excercise my mind. Both seem to fuel the growth of each other. Ive decided to save my life finally. I take that more serious than anything I've ever attacked. It's not my goal to inspire, but I'm happy if it helps. My sole priority is my sobriety, though my journey is made easier when I walk next to some of you
You cannot do a thing about it, so try not to stress about it. My therapist was advising me a breathing technique for relaxing as I have anxiety attacks.
Sit with both feet on the floor. Relax all of your muscles. Take in three short breaths and hold for a second and release. Do this several times per day.
This is helping me some.
Good luck and keep up the good work! Your sobriety will keep you from getting into things like this in the future so you won't experience this anxiety again.

I have another breathing technique that really helps me in times of stress. Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of 4, then breathe out through your mouth for a count of 8. You can switch up the breath counts, just make sure the breath out is twice the count of the breath in.
I really have been dealing with all stress and anxieties well. I have no urges to drink for 2-3 weeks now. Even at court I was calm. I'm really at peace with whatever I'm sentenced to. I merely want to put this in my past so can further my progress forward.
It's ok Hevyn. I'm fine. Things are on the up & up. I'm just so into my recovery that I may be a little impatient with the legal system! LOL Just want to keep moving forward exponentially, but I know growing at a constant pace is better anyway Thanks for the kind words
