I don't know what to do I feel so sick - Which is my own fault I know. My head is saying go drink then you will feel better, which I know is true temporarily but in the long run not so much. I have called to detox in area both full, I don't know what to do just want to give up. Feel so sick it's horrible.

Same here. This is my first post, and I should have done it sooner. I feel okay, but not that great. I think its partly because of my medication, and I take a full slate of vitamins. I also take valerian root, it helps the shakes and anxiety.

I don't know if you have anything your taking, but I hope the best for both of us. We can do it!

Keep at it, I'm on day 4 jitters and anxiety but by supporting each other we can beat this demon. I have relapsed sooooo many times yes you feel so angry but get up brush yourself down and start again !
If it was,easy we wouldn't need sites like this see each day your dry as a huge achievement

Hang in there everybody. Take care of yourselves. Get help if you need it. Medical or whatever. Or all of it. Whatever it takes.

Please know you can do it. There is a way out. Keep reading. Don't give up and let people help you.

Proud of you all for continuing to try - it's so easy to stop caring & slide back into the old, sick behavior. You aren't willing to settle for that - you want a better life and you can have it. Those early days are very rough - it's normal to feel frustrated and disgusted. You will get past it. Never give up. Keep posting and talking to us - we are with you.

Hang in there. Eat something sweet or even a can of soup if you got it. Even a piece of bread. Don't go on an empty stomach. 1 cracker. The important thing is to stay at least a football field's reach away from anything to drink. If you need to, don't hesitate to call someone you know or seek medical attention if you start to 'lose it'.

Stay brave.

Thanks!! It's like one side of me is going towards recovery and the other side is pulling me back and the addiction voice is strong. Blah... starting to talk to random guys online in hopes I can find a guy to hook up with to get high. I know it is stupid, but it worked sort of before, so my head is like it will work again and maybe will be better this time. Blah stupid head needs to shut up.
