I miss my beer buzz!!!!

Picture this:
You have that one ice cold beer, it goes down so smoothly and feels great, within minutes the alcohol '' hits the brain '' and you then CANT stop at that one so you say to yourself '' one more wont hurt '' then you have that one more and then it repeats to another and another and ANOTHER until you reach your usual 12 to 18 beers. You then pass out on your bed or wherever with that buzz you craved.
THEN you wake up with a massive hangover, head is pounding, heart is palpitating, more than likely sweating, limbs aching, liver aching, eyes bloodshot, ZERO energy, feeling ashamed, feeling a sense of self loathing coming on, not wanting to face the day and you are back at day ONE and have to start aaaaall over AGAIN!!
Hunter you are on day 9 you are doing GREAT and I mean GREAAAAAT! Just hang on in there buddy it will take time for these feelings to pass but they WILL pass my friend. Glad to see you are posting here, just remember the booze is NO friend to you in any way shape or form, it will only lead you to your untimely END with its lies that it tells you!

76 days in.... I actually, honestly, don't.
I haven't missed my buzzes.... from beer, vodka, wine, tequila, or all of them mixed together.
I'm relishing the buzzes from raw fruit smoothies and vegetable juicing and exercise and joy.
Joy is a pretty damn fine buzz. And there's no hangover.
Beer pooops, vomit fests, violent headaches, shame, remorse, fear, anxiety, consequences.....
Boy - I don't miss that stuff.
