And so it begins....
And so it begins....
Just had my first massive craving. Ughh.
I'm on gardening leave before starting a new job in April, feeling good today so decided to fix a really nice dinner. I love cooking, find it relaxing and don't normally have time and/or inclination after work.
Except it's probably relaxing because it's a cue to pour a BIG glass of wine. First of several. There's no alcohol in the house, so not about to cave in, just a bit taken aback at how triggering cooking is going to be for me from now on. Glad I can post on here though..

Well, at least you identified something that can set you off.
I'll agree with Rochele; just change your drink!
I had read on another thread somewhere that just having something to sip on helps with the cravings because you are still going through the motions of "drinking." It's just not alcohol.

I hear ya about the craving!! I am going through one right now. Been like a half hour already!!! The weather set mine off. Im in NY and its almost 60 degrees out. Usually on a day like this, I would be grabbing one right after work!!!
I can honestly say, I do miss it!! But i wont, cause I made a promise to myself!

Fancy non-alky drinks and dark chocolate is where it's at! Guilt free this end too, just figured out how many £s per week I was spending on alcohol. Good grief...
There are some great cravings tips here Shoshie
