Anyone here live in Austin, TX?
I have been looking for new friends that does not involve drinking does anyone on here live in Austin TX? I moved here 3 years ago from Kansas and am 35 an have been divorced 2 years and it is hard to make friends here. This may seem like a strange place to post this but I would like to do things that does not involve drinking so I thought I would try

I'm sure there are a few people on here from Austin, although I'm not one of them.
You might try a local AA meeting. That's probably the best way to meet other non-drinkers face to face. If AA isn't your thing, Austin is a big place, they probably have other support groups for people quitting drinking. SMART and lifering are two I hear about on here, although I know very little about them. I'm sure you can google them and find local meetings.
