Hello
Welcome Chevota. Personally I use AA. I have a sponsor I call every day. I post on these boards. I go to 4 meetings a week. I read AA literature. I am working the steps. Would do more but I work full time and go to school. I also drank binge and daily for 14 years. I didn't used to go to sleep I passed out. And what 4x4 said, I would do the same thing. Severe weather and no driver's license could not keep me from booze. Neither would criminal charges. But, "God could and would if he were sought."

Hi chevota
If you want advice on what to do about quitting the best thing to do is see your Dr. We can;t give you medical advice here - it's against our rules.
None of us know your clinical history or background. You're safest speaking to your Dr
Did you find the latest March thread? (we close them when they get to 500 posts and open a new one straight away - you probably clicked a closed one)

Welcome to the forum, it has been very helpful for me as I am pretty isolated at the moment. Everyone on here is supportive and sharing stories helps not only to work through your own thoughts but learn from other peoples experiences and realise youre not alone. Its a tough journey but we're all in the same boat
