Trying to find

something that will occupy myself for through the day so I don't drink!

I have no ideas or motivation to do anything, but I know I need something as doing nothing is not helping me give up.

I saw my psychiatrist last Tuesday and she has given me more tablets to help my anxiety and to relaxe me to come off drink.

Oh what to do grrrr

Have you tried volunteering in your community Erratic? That was great for me to get out of the house and do something useful

Thanks dee, I actually work in evenings and Friday through day and evening and sunday mornings, so kinda hard for me to think about doing more work. Not sure what is out there for my the times im free.

sry im not really explaining myself properly, my head is a bit fried just now as im just sitting here like a Muppet.

Do you like to read? Or play videogames? Reading is one of my favorite hobbies. Watching movies and listening to music are also things I love to do.

Great for most of my ailments is AA meetings even when I thought I wasn't that bad. It turned out that I was/am.

I spent so much time drinking that when I quit I discovered I'd almost "forgot" what to do without booze! But I have found myself again. It just takes a little time, Erratic. Are you feeling better today?

When I'm bored or don't know what to do with myself I walk my dogs. That gives me sunshine and fresh air and exercise. I always come home from a dog walk feeling better.
