SR - You Are Always On My Mind.

well, I have 7 weeks of sober time now and I have been doing well overall. BUT yesterday I had a blind date after work and I was feeling super anxious. So, while in Walgreens picking some things up, I grabbed a mini bottle (the one glass size) of wine. I continued to shop and put other things in my basket. THANKFULLY, I realized that if i had that one glass, I would be mad at myself. And I would feel like a jerk after everyone here at SR has supported me these past couple of months.

Sooo..I put it back..and did NOT have a drink.

And the date went well - totally sober.

Thank you all for being in my mind all the time!

Thats some strength! Honestly I think about SR too when feel myself starting to slip and it helps a lot.

That's a great story,Nicole. I'm glad you had the strength to put that bottle back. And you were able to go on the date sober, and it probably wasn't half as scary as you thought it would be.
