The burning orb, 'round which we spin. The giver of light and warmth (sometimes). The center of our oblong existence.

Well... When I feel squarely or down I clean. So the house is clean from top to bottom tonight. Laundry done. Even had my head in the oven.... To clean that too! The cats room smells... Un-cat-like. Getting ready to settle in and watch shark tank. One of my fav shows.

See you on the other side folks!

Stay strong. Stay sober. This is doable.

I refuse to think that there is such a thing as sun and warmth. It is a myth told to Midwesterners to pacify them. As much a myth in my reality as a clean floor and an empty sink. Sigh. Kids and food crumbs. Spring will only bring in the ants to feast on the aforementioned crumbs.

I should have stopped at the store for bacon. And my mother in law just asked for bread. Which I don't have either. Guess this weekend will be spent at the grocery store.

Well, Ruby, the myth of sun only lasted for about 6 hours here. We are back to clouds and rain. But I see green sprouts on the ends of the branches, so I know spring is close by.
That, and Daylight Savings Time.
I am going on record right now that I really, really, really dislike Daylight Savings Time.

You just made me laugh Olive. I hate daylight savings time too. Ugh! And I can't ignore it because I am providing the refreshments at church for coffe hour. Guess I was being a tad bit dramatic. It was actually sunny and fairly warm today but I saw it is supposed to drop into the twenties again later in the week. No green buds for us. You are fortunate to see them. The only sign of spring I see is my cats insistence on running in and out and in and out whereas before they ran away from the cold air at the door.

There are a couple of clocks in my house that I never change from standard time. My own personal little protest.

If the wheels fell off pick yourself up and start over this morning , it's a new day and we can learn and change our behaviour . Is there something you can add to get yourself more support ?

No plans today other than stay sober and comfey . Got some beef to roast and boxes of stuff to sort through … think i should do a paperwork purge more frequently than every 6 years … LoL

Onwards , m

Alas, I can't partake of bacon today, or for the next month. To hurry up and drop 20 pounds in the next two months, I am going on a liquids fast! Don't worry--if I start to feel bad, I'll be right back on the bacon!

Be sure to take your vitamins.....and make good smoothies.
I was always a fan of the cabbage soup diet too, but I must chew!
Carrots celery, a little hummus, small proteins, ( cheese).
And move a lot, both body and bowels.... ( did you try Alli)?
good morning, Bacon makes the sun shine any Saturday!
Big day for me, construction continues at 8am here in Fandyland... ( pictures later on whiners). I will actually have my fridge out of the front hall back in kitchen later! And my washer dryer hooked back up...I have a mountain of dirty clothes to wash.

Good morning everyone!

Up at 6 and with the house clean from last nights madness I am off to the gym. I am down officially this morning 7lbs! 18 to go!

Thank you Miss Fandy for using the word bowels in one of the first posts I read.

Have a great day! Check in often. If you hit a patch. We are right here!
