Made it to two months today!!!
 

It really does get easier as I was told. I still think about wine when I am tired and on the weekends, but I can easily brush the thoughts away.
I have not socialized with my drinking friends either. Have an invitation this weekend with them, so that will be a new challenge.
I feel great! The depression has finally lifted. Had no idea how depressed I had been for years, despite taking antidepressants. I am getting a glimpse of the old me, just older....

Thanks Rove. Glad to know things get better. Congratulations on 2 months! I am a week away from one month. Former wine drinker as well. Glad to be done with it honestly. In retrospect there wasn't much of anything good about it.

Hi, Rove! Congrats on two months! I'm right behind you...in 7 days, I'll be hitting my 2 months. What's so amazing to me, is my mind and body both continue to improve! I used to think how I felt on Fridays before hitting the booze for the weekend was the best I could feel. Wrong! Sober is awesome!!
