Congrats on 6 months! I love the fact that you are avoiding situations that just don't make sense to be in...i.e. Pub crawls! And yes, it really does get so much easier to be at functions where other people are drinking....to the point that you don't even think about it!
I now laugh to myself when at functions where people are drinking. I identify the person drinking the most ( the person I will call " the fan of the day " ). And thank God I won't feel like them in the morning
