Isn't that the truth. I just love the feeling of going to bed sober and waking up feeling good. I don't know which is better. And I sleep so well now too!

It truly is a wonderful gift of sobriety to be able to put my head on the pillow each night knowing that my day of sobriety will not cause me the hurt and grief that a day of drinking always did.

This is spot on. No shame. No fear of hangovers. Sleep is something I love again, it's the small things you forget that are the most magical.

I did the same Liss. Went to bed and listened to the rain. We woke up without drinking, great start to the day. The garden is smiling too x

Going to bed sober is great, but waking up not feeling like something the cat dug up- that's even better!
