Time for a new start ?

Today is the day to start again , as is every morning .

Every morning when i wake up i get the chance to do something different , make a different decision .
I can see the path leading to here , right here right now i have the choice to change things for the better from here on .

Some things in my life are still kinda unmanageable so today i make the affirmation to change those things i can for the better .

I say this as i've been sitting in a pit for the last couple of days not doing anything much to improve my lot and there comes a time for dropping the lethargy and moving on .

So onwards with sobriety and trying to live life in a better and more manageable way .

2 years 6 months yesterday , I hope and pray for another sober day on our glorious planet ..

Bestwishes, m

Maybe you don't feel like you've been doing anything to help yourself lately, but you've been doing LOADS for others on this forum. You are a source of emulation. I hope you achieve everything your heart desires!

Congratulations and as they say KEEP COMING it works.

"Ups and downs still happen, it's how we deal with them that counts."

That's so true. In the beginning I had the crazy thought that once I stopped drinking everything would automatically be rosy. Things got better, ME, but life continued and I needed to learn how to adapt instead of trying to escape. After many years sober it's still a work in progress but having a clear head sure helps.

BE WELL
