Chilled, the first week is tough. And early sobriety may seem like a full time job. I remember I felt like climbing walls, and screaming, and crying...scared of that void you are referring to, and a lot of pain from the past, and..you name it...
Just don't give up. It will get better. Take my word.
And, you know. We've been abusing our bodies for years, and it takes them months to recover. Sounds like a square deal to me.
Hang in here)

I hanged on in there and made it through! I just need to remember that at the moment I am SICK! my body is ill and so is my mind with this obsession with alcohol and that right now I am in treatment!
I must say tho that today I do look a tad bit better ............... You know that's one of my motivations lol
Thanks for the support Longest I been without a drink since a loooooooooooooooong time!

Had to check on you Chille, so glad you feel better. When that happened to me in the early days it helped me to look at the clock and see really how long it took before it passed and what I did to help it. It always passed. And when it felt like it would never lift I just would tell myself that I had proof it did. It always does. Especially if you do a few things. Even sleep. Me and my bed and hagan daz were pretty close the first couple weeks.
It gets better. It does. I never think about it much now.
Once in awhile I miss the hagan Das pint though.
Glad you feel better.
