Chilled, the first week is tough. And early sobriety may seem like a full time job. I remember I felt like climbing walls, and screaming, and crying...scared of that void you are referring to, and a lot of pain from the past, and..you name it...

Just don't give up. It will get better. Take my word.

And, you know. We've been abusing our bodies for years, and it takes them months to recover. Sounds like a square deal to me.

Hang in here)

Had to check on you Chille, so glad you feel better. When that happened to me in the early days it helped me to look at the clock and see really how long it took before it passed and what I did to help it. It always passed. And when it felt like it would never lift I just would tell myself that I had proof it did. It always does. Especially if you do a few things. Even sleep. Me and my bed and hagan daz were pretty close the first couple weeks.

It gets better. It does. I never think about it much now.

Once in awhile I miss the hagan Das pint though.

Glad you feel better.

360-- I have noticed that I want ice cream. I never eat ice cream; maybe once a year. I guess it takes the place of some of the sugar from the alcohol.
