In these 30 days I have gained perspective about what is important in my life. My physical health has improved (I have more energy and don't have to sleep during the day), and I have felt a range of emotions, most prominent is the breakup with my b/f and it has been challenging and REWARDING to feel the grief instead of running away or trying to go around the pain. I actually feel surprisingly well and content right now. I look forward to continuing on this path and learning, growing and feeling. Thanks to you all for your support and may you be well.

It is liberating to realize that drinking is not the inevitable result of emotional tumult, isn't it? Gives you back the reins to your life, puts you back in the driver's seat. With that kind of power, think of all the cool stuff you could do . .
