So excited to start this 1st anniversary of my sober date! New job, new friends and a great new outlook. So ready to put that mess behind me. Soon I will have the interlock out of my car and shortly after that probation will be over. Counseling has done wonders, along with meetings, SR and of course my family. I still have triggers and I still want a drink every day, but I can see in my minds eye the disappoint I would create because I know I have no control over this. It doesn't seem fair, but it is what it is....
