Day 25 starts.......
Not that I usually keep anything secret from my SR buddies, but this is not something I wanted on a social site. My husband has been out of town for the past 10 days to the cabin. Things are now back to normal. If I ever say something weird about my H, ask me to remember these past long 10 days, I missed him. I thought when he left, I would drink. Dreaming of swimming backflips in the vodka bottle with no one the wiser (except you guys, I always come clean with you) There is alcohol all over this house. But day 1 passed, and 2, and 3, etc., and I didn't drink. Now I have made it through these 10 days alone, without liquor. Seriously true, I thought I was influenced by him to drink or not. But that just isn't the case, is it? He has nothing to do with my drinking, just like you have no influence over your A's, as to whether they drink or not. Regardless of the consequences of drinking. You can't beg, love, shame, threaten, embarrass, coerce, lay down boundaries, to make your A stop drinking. Prayers to all those who love their A's, my heart goes out to you. I hate to repeat what is all over this site. Take good care of yourself, protect yourself, and remember it's not you. It never was about you, and it never will be. It's all about me and how can I satisfy my disease. Blessings to you.

Stay on the path. Even one alcoholic can't stop another if they are determined to drink. But you are doing so well that i for one would be gutted if you picked up again after all your hard work.

Bin all over the eastern US. My ex wife was born in Cleveland but lived in Mississippi when we met. Don't know what my welcome would be like in the US of A these days after some of my capers over there!
Lol. Once crashed her Dads Chevvy into a cotton field drunk as a skunk. Wrote the car off and any chance of being his buddy for a while.

You are on the edge of 1 month!!! I am so proud of you and especially what you just stayed sober through. It is testament to your strength and resolution.
So, I see that afloatsober has the answer for all of my regretful actions...I will move to England.
