Quick check in

Going well, going sober

AV still there almost everyday, mostly the notion that I've done this much damage anyway (relationships, general living, general health) that it's too late and so have a drink blah. Still beat myself a bit for past mistakes, what could have been etc.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's gone through or still experiences this though.

Fighting the good fight. Happy to attend events on weekends without drinking, the thought of waking up at an hour and in a state to enjoy the next day is a great one

I'm not sure how long you've been sober now Kys but the longer you stay sober and work hard on your recovery, the less that inner AV will have traction
