Any tips on movies/documentaries? I find it helps to watch films or documentaries about alcoholism. Recently wathced "Flight" and have seen this dreadful documentary "Drugged - high on alcohol" (I think that was the name). Any other suggestions?? |
Rain in my Heart is the best one, in my opinion. It's a 10-part documentary. Here's a link to part 1... Rain In My Heart (1 of 10) - YouTube |

Requiem isn't about alcohol but it sure scared me. |
Chris Herren Story (documentary) Everything Must Go, Will Ferrell. |
'When a Man Loves a Woman', my favorite. |
Thanks, just started watching "Smashed"..recognizing a lot of stuff.. |
I recently watched Drugged, High on Alcohol the other week as well. So disturbing, so sad. |
I also saw The Spectacular Now, which had some very sad alcoholic undertones. I think the director of this movie also directed Smashed. I haven't watch that one yet though. 28 Days is a good, positive one to me. |

"Lost In Woonsocket." Saw it in treatment. A documentary. Sad, happy. Thought provoking. |
"The wet room" |
I second 28 days. It's a light comedy but has a good story to it. |
