Welcome. I was sober three weeks when I slipped. It was a full blown, black out, pass out, wake up covered in vomit, slip up that started as "having one drink with dinner" on day 22. It was a harsh reality check coming to that morning, living the nightmare that so many folks on SR warn us about, where one drink leads to disaster. Today is my Day 3.

Thank you everyone! I did NOT sleep last night! I stayed up restless until about 6:00 am! I finally fell asleep until about 10:00am...I will take the four hours.. I didn't think I was every going to sleep! Day 2 has been alright. I have experienced a little bit of heart racing on and off and a major headache all day now... I just keep looking at my daughter, who is 3 almost 4 now, and telling myself how important it is that I stick through this. I know the first week is hard!
