I drank for most of my daughter's life. I was not there for her far too many times. Those are days I will never get back.

I'm not that person any more. I will be there for her today 100% clean and sober when she needs me the most. Although life sure can take a crap on you it is such a gift to be able to deal with it without that awful fog of alcohol.

Thanks for all the kind words and prayers. A day sober is always a successful day.

I am so sad for you. I don't know if I could be as strong, I am sure your daughter is very proud of you as you are of her.
I am very sorry this is happening to her and you all.
I am struggling with some family problems as well and when I read your post I had to step back and feel grateful for what I have. You are my thoughts.
