Welcome and good luck. Let us know how the meeting went. I myself went through 3 sponsors.
Get A new sponsor. I actually have 4 "babysitters"?sponsors". I get calls n texts from 6am-bedtime. Almost annoying.But very thnkful.
Stay strong and know this icky will go away. I promise it gets better. Last month I would of laughed at myself. First few days are so very hard, can seem unbearable, but I was there, and now 2 months later I am not.

The meeting went good last night. It was more of a social get together with my home group. They are all very supportive. It was an odd experience for me as I ALWAYS drink when I go out to dinner with friends. I have no idea how to do this sober. I've been drinking since I was 11 years old. First just socially, then in the last 2 years it became every hour a shot or two of whiskey.
