Day 19 begins....
Whew made it through yesterday sober. BTW marsh mellow fluff on cookie dough ice cream may just put you into a marshmallow coma... And your naked twerking may just bring down the house if you continue on this kind of diet. I'm finding in early recovery everything is the fault of no alcohol. I had a ****** day. A couple things happened that were very disappointing. Of course, had I been drinking either these things would not have happened or I wouldn't have cared that they did. I have to keep in my mind that crappy things happen to people who have never drank. I don't like it but it's true. So I will watch the rest of the Bible series today, I have 6 hours left. Drink my juice and decaf and try to make through the day. Blessings and thanks.

Hi Raider, congratulations on 19 days. I'm on 14. It's tough for sure. Crappy days and crappy things make it worse. I think dealing with these kinds of things- or just not taking it as an excuse to drink, is a huge accomplishment. This is the hard work.

Hey R ,
Keep on , my teeth gnash, i might cry, i might curl up in a ball on the floor and feel wretched , (i did) I promise you things change tho' .
Sometimes in getting sober i think we feel super sensitive to all the pain and hurt . "By bravely enduring it, an evil which cannot be avoided is overcome" .

Look at you now, 19 days and counting! You have done fantastic and I'm always happy to see you post another successful day. Bad days stink but marshmallow gooey treats are really good at making up for it lol. Keep up the twerking and sobriety!!! Don't let the downers set the tone for a whole week, sleep it off and enjoy a great day tomorrow.
