I can really relate to the part about living in the past. Replaying those past memories of hurt, embarrassment, and pain have really played a part in my drinking problems. I am so glad to hear you mention that sobriety and meditation has helped you deal with those painful memories. I want to be there, too.

If I can do this, so can you. Tomorrow will be 8 months for me.
I can't even begin to tell you, how much better I feel.
Every effort you put into it, is so WORTH IT.
