Trying to distract myself so reading a lot of posts on here, my husband was going to drive me to my first meeting and been waiting waiting. Rang him and he completely forgot even though we talked about it again 4 hours ago. :'( he knew how important it was for me to have his support as this is a huge step for me and I couldn't get there by myself today.

So had a joint but no drink. Still breathing and giving in to that voice at least this hour, to pick up a bottle.

Depending on where you live, there is usually a number you can call and someone will give you a ride to the meeting.

We will in my area. The police and church have my number for people looking for a meeting

That's good to know for next time, I'm in small country towns so distance is an issue for some meetings. This one would be almost over though so will have to wait until Wednesday which is in my town.

Perhaps look at some online meetings? Stay close to SR too ,perhaps join the monthly class if youve not already done so

Or as captain says if you call your local number someone will give you a lift.
