90 Days Clean

90 days free from all mind-altering chemicals. Never thought I'd see this day. As some of you know, I've been in rehab so that's why I haven't posted here in a while(im on a 8 hour home pass right now) but I'm doing really good. I go to AA meetings every day, I have a sponsor and just finished step one and will be going over it with him next week.

I can honestly say that the obsession to use has been lifted - using thoughts these days are just that - fleeting thoughts. It's very freeing. Now I am dealing with all those emotions and other issues that I've been covering up all these years, but it's all part of recovery!

Thanks to everyone on here who has supported me throughout this journey so far!

90 days is huge - congrats! And it's encouraging to see you use words like "freeing". Keep up the good work. You're an inspiration for everyone on this site.
