Yup! One of my tasks to keep me busy this weekend I think!

Thanks for all the support guys and hope you're doing well!!
Well done. Take it easy. Hope you sleep okay.

Sydney, can I be the first to congratulate you on your first day of sobriety? That is a tremendous achievement but after what you told us about the doctor's appointment, I'm not surprised. You've made a HUGE leap forward and I hope you wake up tomorrow feeling calmer and able to take the next step. If you feel anxious, why not try doing some controlled breathing (as suggested by your fellow Aussie, Feeling Great above)?

Take it slowly friend and keep us updated. We're all in your corner.

A whole 24 hours+ more is fantastic!!
Well done mate. I found distraction helps, just for this moment I'm going to put on a movie, the radio, read a book, a page, write down how I feel, play Tetris or another video game, walk in the countryside, away from civilisation I feel safer as I know the cows and sheep aren't gonna be offering anything or want to talk!
Drink a glass of water or a mug of tea, vegetate & hibernate & be nice to yourself... You have taken a giant leap into the unknown.... Well done x
